Pomeranism is a term used to describe a borrowing from the Pomeranian language.
An example of pomeranism is the Low German word, Zeese / Zehse, which describes a kind of fishing net. This word comes from the Pomeranian word, seza, which has the same meaning as the Low German derivative. The German phrase, "dalli, dalli" (meaning "come on, come on") was moved through German and Pomeranian dialects of East Prussia and is also present in Kashubian, spelled as dali, dali.
