The Kashubian Language Council (Kashubian: Radzëzna Kaszëbsczégò Jãzëka; Polish: Rada Języka Kaszubskiego) is a body of the Kashubian-Pomeranian Association that deals with, and adjusts the Kashubian language and the scattering and promotion of knowledge on the language.[1] The council was established on August 26, 2006 as one of the elements of the strategy for the development of the Kashubian language, and consists of 17 members. The current bodies of the council are the Plenary of Assembly, the Presidium, and the President (who is now Edward Breza[2]). The actual activity of the group began on October 2, 2006, when the group chose its first president, Witold Bobrowski.[3]
