Kentish was a southern Old English dialect spoken in Kent. It was one of the four dialect groups of Old English, which the other three being Mercian, Northumbrian (collectively known as the Anglian dialects), and West Saxon.
It was spoken in what is now known as Kent, southern Hampshire, and the Isle of Wights by the Jutes.
